HITEC has announced the 2026 HITEC 100, an annual recognition programme that this year honours 100 technology leaders from all backgrounds whose leadership and innovative thinking are actively influencing the trajectory of the global technology ecosystem. The list acknowledges executives who create impact that stretches far beyond their own organisations, with a clear focus on advancing opportunity by championing underleveraged and forward-thinking talent.
As part of its wider commitment to sustained growth, high standards, and measurable outcomes, HITEC has simultaneously announced a strategic evolution of its awards programme. The HITEC 100 award will continue to embody the Architects of Growth ethos at the heart of the organisation, recognising exceptional leaders from across the industry whose influence is felt well beyond their immediate professional surroundings. Those honoured are shaping industry direction, delivering innovation at meaningful scale, and actively expanding opportunity through leadership that places inclusion at the fore.
Among this year’s 2026 HITEC 100 honourees are some of the most prominent technology leaders from Fortune 100 and major global organisations, occupying roles that span CEO, CIO, CTO, and a variety of senior technology positions across numerous disciplines. The class as a whole reflects the remarkable range and resilience of the global technology ecosystem, with honourees drawn from a diverse array of industries, geographies, and organisations.
“I am so proud of the 2026 HITEC 100 honorees—they are at the top of their game and demonstrating what it means to be an Architect of Growth in a global, technology-driven world,” said Miriam Hernandez-Kakol, Chair of the HITEC Board of Directors. “They create collaborative networks rooted in shared values and a culture of excellence. Their leadership shows what it takes to create enduring value across a broader ecosystem.”
“The evolution of the HITEC Awards is informed by extensive engagement with members and stakeholders and reinforces HITEC’s commitment to remaining relevant, inclusive, and impactful,” said HITEC President Omar Duque. “The HITEC 100 represents leadership that goes beyond title or tenure—leadership that influences beyond organizational boundaries and exemplifies innovation, responsibility, and measurable impact,” said Jesus Mantas, Vice-Chair of the HITEC Board of Directors. “By evolving the awards, we are recognizing exceptional leaders from all backgrounds who are advancing technology while intentionally strengthening pathways to growth for the next generation.”
The selection of HITEC 100 honourees is underpinned by a robust and wide-ranging evaluation process, developed to ensure the recognition reflects genuine, substantive impact across the technology landscape. Honourees are chosen on the strength of their leadership impact, the scope and reach of their influence, their record of contribution to innovation and technology, and evidence of a sincere and sustained commitment to developing the leaders of tomorrow.
