A third domestic violence investigation into Taylor Frankie Paul’s conduct could likely affect her probation status.

“We are aware of the West Jordan allegations, and since Ms. Paul is on plea in abeyance status, we would always be interested in any subsequent allegations of criminal conduct during her probationary period,” Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill tells Us Weekly in a Wednesday, March 25, statement. “If there is conduct out of West Jordan that rises to the level of a violation that would fall within our domain to file charges, then we would screen it when and if it is presented to us.”

Paul, 31, is currently on probation following her 2023 arrest after an alleged altercation with now-ex Dakota Mortensen. She pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge as part of a plea deal to dismiss the remaining charges.

“The charges were all dropped,” Paul claimed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in September 2025. “I never did anything intentionally with my children. I never have ever.”

Taylor Frankie Paul’s 2023 plea deal might be in jeopardy now that there are fresh domestic assault allegations against her. “When someone is on probation for a violent offense, few things are worse than picking up another arrest for a crime of violence — especially when both cases involve allegations of domestic abuse,” criminal defense […]

NBC News reported earlier on Wednesday that Utah police were investigating an alleged altercation between Paul and Mortensen, 33, in 2024 after Mortensen reportedly contacted law enforcement officials last month. Police were called to Paul’s house a third time in February after an additional alleged altercation with Mortensen.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul, as well as son Ever, 2, with Mortensen. Newly released footage from the 2023 arrest revealed that Indy was in the room when Taylor allegedly physically assaulted Mortensen and threw a chair at him.

The video from the altercation was leaked on Thursday, March 19, shortly before Mortensen filed for a protective order against Taylor. Mortensen’s request was temporarily granted, also awarding him sole custody of Ever until a court hearing next month.

In light of the video’s release, ABC decided not to move forward with Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette that was due to premiere Sunday, March 22.

Taylor Frankie Paul is not in contact with Dakota Mortensen after their alleged altercation. “Right now, they aren’t in communication at all,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively. “Everything regarding custody of Ever is handled through family members.” News broke on Monday, March 16, that Taylor, 31, and Dakota were involved in an alleged domestic […]

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a rep for the MomTok creator told Us in a statement. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

The spokesperson continued, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support and preparing to own and share her story.”

Mortensen, meanwhile, denounced all accusations about his behavior.

“As anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation,” he told Us in a separate statement. “I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny. I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.”
