It was a real asinine move.
An Emirates passenger put the “a–” in first class after using her seatmate’s bottom as a pillow during an international flight, as detailed in a TikTok video with over 19 million views.
“This old lady spooned me for an entire 15 hour flight,” lamented the victim, named Hayley, in the clip’s caption.
The accompanying footage starts off innocuously enough with her neighbor adjusting her blanket in an attempt to get comfortable.
However, things take a sinister turn when the woman, after staring at Hayley for an uncomfortably long time, proceeds to lie flat with her head nestled against the poster’s backside.
“This is not real,” the human neck pillow lamented in the caption. “Her face is literally in my ass.”
To make matters worse, this reportedly occurred on the flyer’s first-ever flight with the company, which is known for being the “lap” of luxury in the sky.
In October, the Middle Eastern carrier won a slew of awards, including “Best International Airline” and “Best International First Class” by Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards.
Viewers were appalled by the space invasion, with one writing, “genuinely WHAT the f–k.”
“That’s actually traumatizing omg,” said another.
“When she gazed into your eyes, she was trying to read your soul,” a third theorized. “She saw in your eyes she could get away with this.”
“Did y’all talk after or was it just a one-flight stand,” quipped one.
Others wondered why Hayley “let it happen.”
She responded in the comments that it was 3 a.m. after a work trip and she just didn’t “have it in her” to protest, claiming that she instead zonked out.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the elderly woman’s only in-flight infraction.
Hayley wrote in the comments that when she got up to use the lavatory, her senior seatmate also tried to steal her window seat.
