Influencer Lizzie Kieffer Says Late 12-Month-Old Daughter ‘Molded’ Baby No. 3 for Family

Influencer Lizzie Kieffer is reflecting on the arrival of her third baby months after the death of her 12-month-old daughter, Lily.

“God knew we needed you 🪽✨,” Kieffer wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, September 16. “Isla Grace made her entrance 9/13 at 8lb 3oz. She took her sweet time and then had quite the finale.”

She continued, “Isla, you are the peace, the joy, the evidence of God’s grace, the link of heaven and earth. Lily guided you here, it was completely evident. And there’s so much that words can’t even express at this time of the emotions we felt and that we do feel.”

Kieffer — who previously welcomed daughters Mia and Lily in June 2022 and April 2024, respectively, with husband Matt — shared that the couple’s eldest is “obsessed” with Isla.

“We all are. And we know our Lily had a lot to do with how she showed up. Gosh, we miss you Lily, but we know without a doubt you’re right here with us in this celebration too 👼🏼,” she concluded. “Thank you Jesus for this pure gift of Isla 🤍.”

Alongside the message, Kieffer shared a black-and-white video of Isla laying in a blanket while surrounded by family. “The gift that sweet hands from heaven molded for us in a time we needed it most,” she wrote over the clip.

The physical therapist, who has amassed more than 360,000 followers on Instagram, revealed on Sunday, September 14, that the couple had welcomed their third baby. “Hello world,” she captioned an Instagram Story of the newborn tucked in a blanket.

One month after Kieffer shared the news of her pregnancy in March, the influencer announced that Lily died. She explained at the time that the family had “come to learn” that Lily had a “large mass on her brain,” noting that they “could have never known about [it] as she never showed signs.”

“We won’t know more answers with many of these things for months until further testing is done,” Kieffer added. “Lilybug, you are our angel. And we know you’ll always be with us. Daddy, Mommy, Mia & new baby love you so damn much and we miss you every single second.”

The caption of her post read, “We are shattered. You taught us more in 1 year than most can in their life, Lily. We feel you with us. And we feel your spirit already in this new baby. You will always, always be a part of us and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days bringing joy into the moments. You’re our light in this darkness and we know God is holding you in an extra special place. Please keep our family deep in your prayers. We know they work and we feel them and the support. We appreciate it more than you know.”
