InfoWars reporter Jamie White ‘brutally murdered’ near Austin residential area, outlet says

InfoWars reporter Jamie White was “brutally murdered” near his Austin, Texas home on Sunday night, according to the outlet.

Alex Jones, the founder of InfoWars, revealed the shocking news in a statement shared by the outlet on Monday. 

“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza,” Jones wrote. 

“We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice,” the statement added.

Jones described White as the best writer at InfoWars and a “good friend” who had been working at the outlet for many years, in a broadcast posted to X.

White was heading home from work Sunday night when he was killed, Jones said in the video. 

The Austin Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

But the department told local Fox 7 that officers found an adult male with “obvious signs of trauma” in South Austin on Sunday at around midnight.

That man was taken to the hospital where he died from injuries, according to that report.

The victim was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex, KXAN reported, according to a clip shared on X by Jones.

Investigators were seen retrieving evidence from a second-floor apartment, according to the KXAN report. 

In a monologue Monday, Jones described the scene, saying there was “blood all over the parking lot.”

Police have said they have no information about the suspect but say an investigation is underway.

This is the eighth homicide in Austin so far this year.
