Inside Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s Romantic European Summer: ‘So in Love’ (Exclusive)

Love is in the air — and on the rails, cobblestone streets, beaches and clubs — for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, who took their romance on the road this summer.

After confirming her engagement in June, the pop star, 30, continued on the European leg of her Radical Optimism tour with the actor, 35, by her side.

“It worked out that he was available to travel with her, and she loves having him by her side,” an insider told Us Weekly exclusively of the couple, who were first linked in early 2024. “She has been touring for some time, so having him be able to share this part of [it] with her has been amazing.”

Just look to Lipa’s Instagram for proof: Chock-full of loved-up snaps in more cities than most people can hope to explore in a lifetime (no, we’re not jealous at all!), there’s no doubt that the dynamic duo are having a blast.

Following her 2024 tour kickoff in Asia and spring 2025 stops in Australia and New Zealand, Lipa took Turner along with her across Europe this summer, visiting Spain, France, Italy and Germany. She’ll embark on the North American leg of the Radical Optimism tour in Toronto on Monday, September 1.

“Dua and Callum just have the best time together. They are like best friends. Every time she has downtime, they try to sneak off for a little trip together,” shared the insider. “Callum is very protective of her as well. When they are out together, he just takes on that role. He’s so in love with her and is a real romantic.”

The Boys in the Boat star will be part of the singer’s family soon enough, but it sounds like he already fits in well among the Lipas.

“[Dua] has a great support system with her. She is very close with a lot of her team, [and] her family travels with her as much as possible,” the source told Us. “Callum fits in so seamlessly with her family. It’s really been so easy from the beginning.”

The British power couple were first spotted together after the premiere of Masters in the Air in January 2024, and Us confirmed the two were dating shortly thereafter. They made their official red carpet debut at the Met Gala in May before announcing their engagement one month later.

“It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling,” Lipa told British Vogue at the time.
