A new moon occurs when the moon is in conjunction with the sun, and thus it is no longer visible from our vantage point on Earth. As such, the new moon always falls in the same zodiac sign that the sun is moving through.
The new moon is a clean slate, turning over the fresh dirt of a month-long lunar cycle. The sky goes dark, and we go deep.

Earth signs – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Queen of Cups
Coming through loud and clear in the form of the Queen of Cups, earth signs are being called to pour themselves back into their true purpose.
“This isn’t about doing what’s practical, or right on paper. This is about serving a heartfelt need, interest or passion,” shared Ward.
She encourages the people of the sacred dirt to let who they are reverberate into what they do.
“Become the fulfilled and satisfied employee, colleague, entrepreneur, artist and ally that you are fully capable and ready to be. Follow your heart.”
Air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
The Hermit
According to Ward, the new moon in Capricorn is a summons to air folk to get serious about their ambitions.
“No more playing. You are ready to rise to your full potential. Step one? The Hermit advises research and planning, innovation, and invention,” said Ward.
She asks you to consider what you are bringing to the table, the edge you carry, and the unique selling point you offer.
“Get this right, and every effort you make thereafter will be worthwhile. Create ideas, pitches, networking lists, applications, and plan B, C, D … You are going to find your true level and level up to it in 2026.”
Water signs – Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
The Magician
The Magician suggests that for water babies, your imagination will at long last be put to profitable use.
