John Legend just proved that his daughter Esti is his No. 1 fan.
Legend, 46, took to Instagram on Sunday, September 14, to share a video of Esti, 2, and sons Miles, 7, and Wren, 2, dancing in a living room to his performance of “Glory” at the Grace for the World concert at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, which is now streaming on Disney+. While Miles stood on the couch and Wren leaned against the coffee table, Esti stood right in front of the TV, clapping her hands and jumping up and down. The toddler then started bouncing on the couch. The entire time, Esti shouted, “I love my daddy!”
Legend echoed Esti’s chant in his caption, writing, “Esti loves her daddy!”
Fans gushed over the adorable video in the comments section.
“AAAAAAWWWW!!! Her love her daddyyyyy!!! 🥹🥹🥹 Go back home and get them right now!! 😂,” one user wrote.
“We all love her daddy❤️,” another person added.
“Sooooo sweet! Esti your daddy is quite amazing! I am sure he loves you to pieces tooooo! ❤️,” a third fan commented.
Legend shares Esti, Miles, Wren and eldest daughter Luna, 9, with wife Chrissy Teigen. The couple met in 2006 on the set of the music video for his song “Stereo,” and they tied the knot in September 2013.
Legend and Teigen, 39, welcomed Luna in April 2016, followed by Miles in May 2018.
The pair announced in August 2020 that they were expecting their third child. The following month, Legend and Teigen shared that they had experienced a pregnancy loss.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” Teigen wrote in an emotional Instagram post at the time.
She continued, “We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”
Legend and Teigen later welcomed Esti in January 2023. That June, they announced that they had also welcomed Wren via surrogate.
“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens,” Teigen wrote via Instagram, giving her surrogate a shoutout. “Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
