Kathy Hochul’s longtime press secretary Avi Small resigns amid sexual harassment allegations

Gov. Kathy Hochul’s longtime press secretary has resigned amid allegations of sexual harassment and creating a toxic workplace, The Post has learned.

Avi Small, Hochul’s chief rep, officially submitted his letter of resignation Friday after being suspended pending an investigation into at least one sexual-harassment complaint against him.

Hochul’s office confirmed Small resigned, but declined to comment further.

Small had been on suspension since last week when another staffer complained he inappropriately touched them at a bar in Albany after a staff retreat last month.
