Country music star Maggie Baugh’s father is responding to viral TikTok rumors amid her tourmate Keith Urban’s split from his wife, Nicole Kidman.

According to TMZ, Maggie’s father, Chuck Baugh, shared a TikTok video claiming that his daughter may “allegedly [be] the person responsible for Keith’s divorce from Nicole Kidman.”

“NO. Just No,” Chuck replied via Facebook on Wednesday, October 1.

Several recent onstage interactions between Baugh and Urban have resurfaced over the past week. In September, Baugh shared a clip of Urban, 57, changing the lyrics to his song “The Fighter” to reference her.

In hindsight, there were clues that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had been heading toward a split.  A source confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, September 29, that the couple have separated after nearly two decades of marriage.  Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, first met in 2005, four years after her divorce from Tom Cruise. […]

Urban tweaked the song’s original lyrics from “when they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “when they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player” during a performance.

“Did he just say that👀,” Baugh wrote in her Instagram caption.

Fans later discovered another stage moment from April where Urban directed a lyric about love from “The Fighter” to Baugh during a Las Vegas concert.

“I was born to love you,” Urban sang as he seemingly pointed at Baugh across the stage.

He then added, “Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.”

The resurfaced clip featured Urban introducing Baugh to his fans in between songs, with the two then sharing a hug.

Baugh revealed to Pittsburgh Music Magazine in April that Urban first asked her to perform with him for the CMT Music Awards in 2024 and was so impressed that he quickly invited her to join his band on tour as well.

“Working with [Urban] was like going to rock star school. He is a musical encyclopedia,” she told the publication.

Hours before news broke about Kidman and Urban’s split, Baugh shared behind-the-scenes footage shot after a stadium show with the country icon.

“Nobody in this airport knows I played to 21,000 people in a stadium yesterday with Keith Urban. … Someone pinch me.. this was a dream,” she wrote via Facebook on September 30.

Baugh, 25, is a rising star in the country music community, having released her solo debut, Dear Me, in October 2023. Her second studio album is due later this year, in addition to her headlining Entertainers Heart World Tour kicking off in October.

The singer-songwriter told The Hamilton County Reporter that, although she was classically trained as a violinist from a young age, she never expected her career to blow up so dramatically.

“I started going to Nashville [Tennessee] when I was 13 and started songwriting around the same age,” Baugh said in September. “I put out my very first record when I was 13 years old. I’m actually from South Florida and it’s a festival season all year round in south Florida, so I toured a lot there. I started touring at the bigger venues and all the way up and down the state and up into Virginia. Then when I was 18 years old, I moved to Nashville and started touring a bunch. Last year, I was on tour with Keith Urban and it’s been a crazy wild journey, man.”

Throughout the years, Keith Urban penned several songs referencing his love story with Nicole Kidman prior to their September 2025 split. The pair met at the G’Day USA Gala in 2005 and eventually tied the knot in June 2006. They went on to welcome daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret in July 2008 and December […]

Us Weekly confirmed that Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Tuesday, September 30, after 19 years of marriage and cited “irreconcilable differences” for the split. The former couple agreed for Kidman, 58, to be named “primary residential parent” for their two teenage daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, while they also set out a temporary parenting plan for the girls to spend 306 days each year with Kidman and 59 with Urban.

“In the unlikely event that the parties do not agree on a major decision for either minor child, [Nicole] shall have final decision-making authority,” the plan read.

A source later revealed exclusively to Us that Kidman and Urban have been “quietly separated for a while now” while working out whether or not their marriage was salvageable.

“This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is devastated,” the insider explained to Us. “Her trust was lost, and it was too far gone. Nicole had been trying to get them to work on their marriage and did not want this to get out to the public. She didn’t tell many friends what was really going on with them and was holding this in for months.”

Us has reached out to Kidman, Urban and Baugh for comment.
