Kris Jenner’s blonde moment was short-lived.
Jenner, 69, is back to her signature black color just a week after debuting a platinum hair transformation.
In a reel shared via her hairstylist Chris Appleton’s Instagram account on Monday, October 13, Jenner showed off her signature shade after cutting her longer bob in exchange for a pixie cut.
Appleton, 42, then held up scissors to her mane before covering the camera. When she reappeared, Jenner debuted her freshly cropped ‘do. Her mane was parted to the side with her bangs voluminously blown out over her forehead.
Jenner mouthed over a popular Kardashians clip, in which Kim Kardashian said, “‘Cause it’s iconic, and I love to do iconic s***.”
“The iconic ‘pixi’ is back @krisjenner ✂️,” Appleton captioned the post. Celebrity friends and fans complimented her fierce fall look in the comments section.
“🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Chrishell Stause wrote, while shoe designer Brian Atwood added, “Get it kris ⚡️ ❤️❤️❤️u.” A fan commented, “Kris’s pixie is so iconic ✨✨,” while another gushed, “I just love to see Kris feeling so good and owning it 💋.”
Jener teamed her new ‘do with a full beat, including foundation, filled-in eyebrows, bronzey eyeshadow blended to her crease, long lashes and a bright red lip. She matched her pout to her crimson plaid top and gold statement earrings with scarlet embellishments.
Before chopping her mane, Jenner ditched the dark side and went blonde. She debuted her platinum strands at the Shark Beauty launch party event on October 8, showing off bright hair that was cut to her chin with a root smudge.
Kris isn’t the only Jenner who showed off a blast from the past hairdo. Kylie Jenner revived her turquoise highlights from 2014 on Monday, as part of her Kylie Cosmetics King Kylie Collection drop.
For her makeup collection, which launches on Saturday, October 18, Kylie, 28, stunned with her signature brunette strands blended with teal ends.
Kylie blew out her hair into bouncy curls and teamed her look with another nod to her 2014 style, silver Cartier Love bracelets. She tied her getup together with a leather top featuring a buckle on her neckline and a zip-up front.
The reality star-turned-beauty maven previously had teal strands over a decade ago. At the time, she rocked a bob with her same brunette roots that cascaded into bright ends. She later added even more blue to her hair with long extensions.
Kylie gushed about releasing an updated version of her iconic 2015 lip kits to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of her brand via Instagram on Monday.
“This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!! 💋You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here.. 10 years later!” she wrote. “I’ve seen all your messages asking for a King Kylie collection, the fearless era that had a dream at just 17 years old!”
She added, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being on this journey with me. I hope this collection makes you as happy as you’ve made me.”
