Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s personal bag was stolen with $3,000 cash inside during a dinner outing at a Washington, DC, restaurant Sunday.

Noem’s bag also contained her driver’s license, passport, DHS badge, makeup, checks, medication, and apartment keys, a spokesperson confirmed to The Post.

Security footage reviewed by the Secret Service showed a white man in a surgical mask snatching Noem’s bag before leaving the restaurant.

The theft was first reported by CNN.

The Secret Service has launched an investigation to trace any use of Noem’s financial instruments. It is not clear whether a suspect has been identified or the extent of Noem’s protective detail during Sunday’s outing.

The Post has reached out to the Secret Service for comment.

Noem, 53, who previously served as governor of South Dakota, has been leading DHS since late January and has maintained a significant media presence in the role — including accompanying agents on raids, usually in uniform.

Last month, she traveled to El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) megaprison complex and warned gangbangers trying to illegally enter the US that they could wind up in that notoriously brutal facility.

As DHS secretary, Noem is tasked with overseeing one of Trump’s biggest priorities in his second term — border security.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
