The Issue: The Post story on 21 kids under 18 who’ve been killed by gun violence in New York City this year.
Someone is finally speaking up about the murdering thugs who our city officials have allowed to rule the streets (“Too young to die,” Oct. 2).
Thank You, Post. The mounting violence that is excused is beyond belief. No-bail needs to go.
Twenty-one is just the number of those murdered. How many babies and children have been shot and live with the fear of being shot while walking in the street or even at in their home?
The answer from progressives is to eliminate police. Ask the general public what they say about that. Cops are needed in New York.
Black Lives Matter needs to step up against the violence. The 21 teens were all black.

Saturday’s Post cover story about the deaths of 21 kids so far this year is yet another grim reminder that our system and state are broken, and that the elected Democratic leaders have failed miserably.
No matter who is in office — de Blasio, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo or Gov. Hochul — it appears they cannot shake the woke disease infecting their party and their decision-making, and it’s having a catastrophic effect on our people and state.
In eight short years, de Blasio returned New York City to the 1970s and destroyed what the Mayors Ed Koch, Rudy Giuliani and Mike Bloomberg took years to build.
I’m wondering what it’s going to take for people in this state to realize that they are being conned by the Democratic Party and finally vote them out of office to prevent this carnage and further heartache.

The death of 21 New Yorkers under the age of 18 in 2021 thus far by shootings is appalling and warrants a massive response by all governmental agencies.
Stop-and-frisk is Step 1 if we are to reduce the carnage and reduce guns on the street.
I’m sure that the loved ones left behind to grieve would agree if it meant saving the life of their son or daughter.
The pompous progressives and black activists who look for any excuse to cry racism and police brutality apparently haven’t come up with a better solution.

Twenty-one sons and daughters of New York have lost their lives to violence and not one politician has the courage to call for a war on crime.
It is time for all those who persistently vote for the cop-hating liberal Democrats to step back and take a long hard look at themselves. They need to keep in mind that the corrupt Cuomo was behind the no-bail and Raise the Age laws.
What good did it do for the citizens of New York? De Blasio has tied the hands of police and put every New Yorker at risk.
Election Day is approaching. It is time to take back your streets and protect the children. Vote for the law-and-order candidates who will let the police do their job.

The number of kids who have been killed due to the perpetual onslaught of violent street crime is woefully staggering.
Some of these young victims were killed while being caught in crossfire. This is demonstrative of a society in unfathomable decay.
While de Blasio despicably meanders about in his final few months in office, the city continues to be ravaged by barbaric, senseless crime.
The loss of one kid to violent crime is a tragedy; 21 is intolerable, and this atrocious trend of despicable violence must be aggressively confronted and terminated.
A revamping of the criminal-justice system is a necessity. Giving our officers the latitude to do their jobs should be at the forefront of such reform.
