After a lot of ups and downs with her family, Lindsie Chrisley shared a subtle reaction to dad Todd Chrisley and stepmom Julie Chrisley being pardoned by President Donald Trump.

Lindsie, 35, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 27, writing, “With God all things are possible.” She shared the message shortly after news broke that Trump, 78, pardoned Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, in their ongoing bank fraud and tax evasion case.

“It’s a terrible thing but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean,” Trump told Todd and Julie’s daughter Savannah Chrisley in a video shared via X on Tuesday. “I hope we can do it by tomorrow. I don’t know them, but give them my regards. Wish them a good life.”

Todd and Julie were indicted in 2019 on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. After being found guilty in 2022, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison. His wife received a seven-year sentence. The couple maintained their innocence and continued to appeal their sentences, which were reduced in September 2023 by nearly two years.

Before Todd and Julie’s legal woes, they occasionally faced drama with Lindsie. The family’s tension played out in the public eye, but Lindsie clarified in May 2023 that she was on better terms with the pair.

“There were some rumors that went around after our last podcast episode that the reason that I have not seen Julie was because she doesn’t want to see me, and that is just untrue,” she said at the time. “Finally, I have been able to communicate over [her prison’s] form of email for the first time, but also her email is very delayed. Dad’s is very different. You can send him an email and you will hear back within maybe two hours.”

Lindsie later revealed that a rift had formed between her and Savannah, 27.

President Donald Trump pardoned Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, after more than two years in prison — but when will they be released? “I hope we can do it by tomorrow,” Trump, 78, told Todd, 56, and Julie’s daughter Savannah Chrisley and son Chase Chrisley on Tuesday, May 27, in a video shared […]

“It’s mind-blowing to me, the control and manipulation. It very much alarms me and I’m just going to leave it at that,” Lindsie explained on a 2024 episode of her podcast, referring to her relationship with Savannah as being “nothing.”

Savannah addressed the situation during an Instagram Stories Q+A, claiming that she told Lindsie not to come to a hearing for Todd and Julie because “she was not wanted” and their father “did not want her there and that he didn’t care to have a relationship with her.”

Ahead of Todd and Julie’s pardons, Lindsie tried to recall the last time she saw them.

“The last time I visited my dad, probably … was it the beginning of last year?” she said on her “Southern Tea” podcast in March. “I can’t even honestly remember. … I have not seen my dad in quite some time and I have had no contact. And that’s all I’m going to say for that.”
