Neither Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert nor singer Madison Beer have bothered much to hide the fact that they are dating — even if they’re reluctant to admit it publicly.
Whether it’s been sharing a kiss on the SoFi Stadium sidelines before the Chargers play or cuddling courtside at a Lakers game, the pair has had no problem appearing together.
Rumors first began to swirl that the two were an item in August 2025 when Herbert showed up on the set of Beer’s new music video and they were later seen leaving together in the quarterback’s car.
Herbert had previously kept his personal life private, but was linked to NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti. The two never confirmed their relationship. Beer, for her part, has been linked to Vine star and musician Jack Gilinsky, Brooklyn Beckham, producer Zack Bia, YouTube star David Dobrik and TikTok influencer Nick Austin.
Beer also announced in October 2025 that her upcoming album, Locket, would be available January 16, 2026. She said she wrote most of the album while going through a recent breakup.
“[It was] a pretty up and down relationship that was quite intense,” she said in an October 2025 profile for Vogue. “I get a little bit weird sometimes about writing about people, just because we live in a day and age where people can piece together who it’s about. … I think I’ve tried to be careful because even if I go separate ways from someone in my life, I try to not go too hard on the lyrics, and I try to toe a fair line.”

Herbert and Beer first sparked dating rumors in August when they were spotted together on the set of Beer’s new music video. The two were seen smiling and chatting between takes before Beer introduced him to members of the video crew. They later left in Herbert’s car.

Fully aware of the whispers around his love life, Herbert liked a video posted to Beer’s Instagram account, teasing her new single “Yes Baby,” just before his Chargers faced the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.
Fans noticed the like immediately, taking it as confirmation of their own that the two are an item.
