Meghan Markle is celebrating daughter Princess Lilibet’s 4th birthday with a rare snap of the young royal.
Meghan, 43, shared a new photo of her cradling Lilibet in a black-and-white photo via Instagram on Wednesday, June 4. In the windswept photo, Meghan can be seen lovingly looking down on her daughter while wrapping her arms around the young princess. Lili, meanwhile, can be seen peering at the camera. Both mother and daughter appear to be feeling the wind in their hair during a boat trip in the snap, with the coastline visible in the distance.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today, she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it,” Meghan captioned the photo. “Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
Meghan also shared an intimate photo of Lili’s birth in another slide. In the picture, the mom-of-two can be seen cradling newborn Lili to her chest after giving birth.
Meghan and husband Prince Harry, 40, also share son Prince Archie, who turned 6 in May.
For that occasion, Meghan shared a photo of Archie standing on a balcony looking out over a body of water and overlooking the sunrise while wearing what appeared to be a pair of pajamas.
“Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie!” Meghan captioned her Instagram post on May 6. “Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six!”
She continued, “Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special).”
The With Love, Meghan star and “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast host recently revealed her ambitions of one day starting a business with her daughter.
Speaking to entrepreneur and celebrity mom Tina Knowles — mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles — on the Tuesday, June 3, episode of her podcast, Meghan asked Tina, 71, what it was like working with Beyoncé, 43, on their hair care brand, Cécred.
“You’ve worked with the girls for years, but this is a different type of endeavor. Just curious, I mean, I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lili and we’ll be building something?” Meghan said.
After Tina shared that working with your daughter is “the best,” Meghan went on to ask Tina if she had any tips about those considering going into business with their children.
“There are difficulties sometimes because if you’re dealing with your child or you’re dealing with your mother, you know, you have disagreements,” Tina explained. “I’m the one that always caves. I’ve been like that since I was young. If my kids are mad at me, I can’t take it. I’ll apologize.”
