It made “a lot of sense” for Miranda Kerr’s skincare line, KORA Organics, to team up with Pressed Juicery.
Kerr, 41, exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about joining forces with the juice company, sharing that they share the same “holistic wellness” values in their KORA Organics x Pressed Juicery 7-Day Turmeric Glow System. Like Pressed Juicery, “KORA is a certified organic skincare that really helps nurture your mind, your body and your spirit,” Kerr explained to Us. “Together, [they have] this turmeric seven-day glow system which really harnesses the power of turmeric itself and turmeric internally and externally.”
She continued, “I’m very much a big believer in beauty internally and externally. So this collab made a lot of sense to me.” With Pressed Juicery, KORA released a Tumeric Glow Foaming Cleaner, a Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask and a 7-day Shot Pack; all of which nourish, polish and protect the skin.
To Kerr, beauty and wellness are intertwined. “If you take care of yourself internally, it reflects externally,” she told Us. “Focusing on eating nourishing foods, prioritizing self-care, is something that I’ve been doing for many, many years.” Kerr noted that when you “feel good on the inside, it naturally shines through and you can give so much more in your life.”
Another way Kerr, who has been a fan of Pressed Juicery since they opened in 2010, takes care of herself is “religiously” making time for her skincare routine — despite being a busy mom of four.
“I have a little gua sha tool that I keep with me,” Kerr told Us, quipping that her 8-month-old son, Pierre, has been using her massager as a “teething tool.” (Kerr is also the mom of sons Hart, 6, and Myles, 5, whom she shares with husband Evan Spiegel, as well as Flynn, 13, whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom.)
“I love using it on my face every morning,” Kerr explained. “I wake up quite puffy and it is a great way to just get circulation going and reduce puffiness.” She also makes sure to keep her skin hydrated. Part of her glow comes from her Active Algae Calming and Cleansing Balm — which Kerr considered her “baby girl” — as well as her vitamin C serum and Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum.
“I’m looking forward to everyday aging gracefully,” she said. “My skin’s better now than when it was all the way back [when I started KORA Organics in 2006].”
In case you were wondering, Spiegel, 34, also uses the KORA Organics Pressed Juicery products, including the Tumeric Scrub and the Foaming Cleaner.
When it comes to glam, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has learned a number of tips and tricks through the years from makeup artists. Rose-marie Swift, the creator of RMS Beauty, taught Kerr to curl her lashes with a spoon. “If you’re in a pinch, you can use a teaspoon to curl your lashes and press down on it,” she explained to Us, motioning with her thumb.
“You can heat the spoon as well with the hair dryer and then it kind of does like that curling effect,” Kerr continued. “When she would come near me with the hot spoon, I’d be like, ‘Ah, is this a good idea?’” Kerr laughed.
While she loves donning a red lip on the red carpet and full-coverage foundation, Kerr keeps her everyday look “simple.”
For concealer, she mixes her RMS UnCoverup Concealer with “a couple of drops of” KORA’s Noni Glow Face Oil “for that natural looking concealer.” She also normally doesn’t wear mascara around the house. Instead, she sticks to shining from within, thanks to the KORA Organics x Pressed Juicery Glow System.
