The world’s tallest residential building is giving out some sky-high discounts.
A mystery buyer has plunked down $40.83 million for a five-bedroom, full-floor spread at Central Park Tower on 57th Street. That’s a steep 35% off the original $63 million asking price.
The $40 million stunner is on the building’s 112th floor.
At 6,700 square feet, the sky pad comes with floor-to-ceiling windows — and views of Central Park — along with herringbone floors, a corner chef’s kitchen and a double-height living room.
The main bedroom is 800 square feet with a spa-like bathroom, two dressing rooms, closets and a corner sitting room.
This deal was made during lockdown, our source said, and the unit was delivered raw, as a white box.
The sale comes shortly after a 93rd-floor unit in the building, at 217 W. 57th St., sold for $28.58 million — more than a quarter off its initial ask of $38.75 million, as we previously reported.
Feeling FOMO? Don’t worry. There’s still an eight-bedroom pad on the market for $150 million. The skinny, anorexic-looking tower is 1,550 feet tall. To date, only 17% of the building — 30 out of 178 units — have sold, according to Marketproof.
Over-the-top building amenities include a 50,000-square-foot space on the 100th floor with a private dining room, celeb chefs like Alfred Portale, Laurent Tourondel and Gabriel Kreuther, and experiences curated by top event designer Colin Cowie.
There’s also an outdoor terrace with a pool and cabanas along with a gym, indoor pool, lounge, screening room and children’s playground.
