Today, April 3, is National Burrito Day. National Burrito Day takes place on the first Thursday in April.
According to National Today, the beloved Mexican dish has only been offered in American restaurants since the 1930s.

Chipotle
Chipotle’s popular digital game Burrito Vault has returned for National Burrito Day to give away 157,500 BOGO codes as well as the chance to win free burritos for a year.
Fans who unlocked the Burrito Vault from Monday, March 31, through Wednesday, April 2 had the opportunity to get a BOGO code, plus the first player who unlocked the vault each hour won free burritos for a year.
For those who didn’t get a chance to unlock the vault, Chipotle is further celebrating by offering Rewards members a $0 delivery fee when ordering online via Chipotle.com, Chipotle.ca or the Chipotle app with the code “DELIVER,” on April 3 only.
Moe’s
To celebrate the foodie holiday, Moe’s Southwest Grill is offering BOGO burritos and bowls for all guests at participating locations. To redeem the offer online, customers will need a Moe Rewards account and apply the reward at checkout.
QDOBA
This National Burrito Day, QDOBA wants to ensure that you’re not without a burrito. On Thursday, April 3, QDOBA is giving guests a free extra burrito as “burrito insurance.”
Rewards members will receive a free entrée with the purchase of any entrée — excluding quesadillas — and a drink.
Taco Bell
Taco Bell rewards members can snag a burrito for just $2 with a minimum purchase of $15 on April 3, National Burrito Day. The deal must be redeemed through the website or the app.
Baja Fresh
This burrito day, Baja Fresh is offering BOGO burritos. All fans have to do is place an order online and use the code “BURRITO” at checkout. Customers also must sign up for a free loyalty rewards account or already have a Club Baja Rewards account to redeem the offer, valid from April 3-6.
Chronic Tacos
In honor of National Burrito Day, Chronic Tacos is offering a BOGO deal exclusively for loyalty members through the chain’s app.
Del Taco
Celebrate National Burrito Day at Del Taco by getting one free burrito with a $10 purchase, plus $0 delivery with a $20 purchase, limited to one per guest. To get the deal, customers must be registered as a Del Yeah! Rewards member.
Dos Toros Taqueria
Rewards members can celebrate at Dos Toros with $5 off any burrito or burrito bowl this National Burrito Day. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
El Pollo Loco
El Pollo Loco is turning National Burrito Day into a three-day fiesta. From April 2 to April 4, Loco Rewards members can enjoy burrito deals and giveaways.
On April 3, Loco Rewards members can enjoy a BOGO deal on select Fire-Grilled Chicken Burritos: Chipotle Guacamole Chicken Burrito, Guacamole Chicken Burrito and Queso Guacamole Chicken Burrito.
