The Signature British Wool Mattress Collection pairs hand-teased British wool with calico pocket springs, offering an alternative to mass-produced mattresses built around synthetic foams and plastics.
The design philosophy centres on long-term comfort rather than first impressions. Hand-teased wool forms the upper layers, keeping fibres loose and responsive. This creates a sleeping surface that naturally adapts to body temperature while remaining supportive without feeling heavy. Wool’s moisture-regulating qualities also help maintain a fresh and stable sleeping environment across seasons.
Beneath the wool sits a layer of British-made calico pocket springs. Encased in natural cotton, these springs move independently to enhance airflow and reduce disturbance from movement. This traditional construction works in harmony with natural fillings and is known for retaining its performance as the mattress matures.
The Signature Collection is offered in three designs based on levels of support. Instead of assigning fixed firmness labels, customers are guided to select spring tension that suits their own comfort, reflecting a belief that sleep quality is deeply personal.

Wool is sourced directly from British sheep farmers and remains traceable throughout the manufacturing process.
