Niall Horan and his longtime girlfriend, Amelia Woolley, were the epitome of love at this year’s Wimbledon championship.
The former One Direction singer, 31, stepped out with his partner at the final day of the London tennis tournament on Sunday, July 13.
Horan looked dapper in a navy suit over a white polo. He accessorized his look with a pair of round sunglasses and a silver band worn on his middle finger. Woolley, 28, for her part, stunned in a crisp, white sundress that completed her wicker handbag, black pumps and gold-framed sunglasses.
After walking into the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club hand in hand, Horan and Woolley took their seats in a box to watch the final matchups of the championship.
Horan and Woolley, a luxury shoe buyer, have been together since July 2020. They made their official red carpet debut the following year at a charity gala.
While the twosome has kept most of their relationship under wraps and off social media, Horan was inspired by their love story for his 2023 album, The Show.
“I’m in a relationship, so I think that comes with [it],” the former The Voice coach told Entertainment Tonight in June 2023. “Usually, it’s the love songs [or] heartbreak songs, so it’s nice to be able to write better, you know, happier stuff.”
Horan further teased how Woolley reacted to being his musical muse.
“I think she’s just like, ‘What? Really?’” he quipped. “She’s, like, taken aback, I suppose.”
The Show, Horan’s third studio album, notably features romantic tracks like “You Could Start a Cult” and “Never Grow Up,” the latter of which was inspired by Woolley’s parents’ lasting marriage.
When Horan was later asked by Bustle in June 2023 whether he was “madly in love” with Woolley, he succinctly noted that the assertion was “dead right.”
“If everyone knew everything, [my songwriting] wouldn’t be as candid, would it?” he told the outlet in June 2023. “There’d be all these theories, and I’m not in town for that. I’m here to write what’s on my brain, and love happens to be one of those things that’s flying around me.”
Horan also explained his preferences for keeping their connection out of the public eye.
“I try to keep my private life as private as I possibly can,” Horan noted. “There’s a tendency in the world to take your arm off when you offer a handshake, you know what I mean? But, I’m not hiding.”
