The alleged speed-demon Brooklyn driver charged with fatally mowing down a 32-year-old mom and her two daughters may have been zooming up to twice the speed limit at the time, sources told The Post on Monday.
Wealthy wigmaker Miriam Yarimi, who is now facing manslaughter charges in Saturday’s horror crash, is believed to have been driving up to 50 mph in the 25 mph zone on Ocean Parkway, sources said.
Yarimi, 35, was behind the wheel of her blue 2023 Audi A3 sedan — with a suspended license, suspended registration and no insurance — when she allegedly flew through a red light around 1 p.m. and slammed into a 2023 Toyota Camry operating as an Uber.
The smash sent the pricey Audi into a roll that struck mom Natasha Saada and her three young children, who were walking with the light in the crosswalk, sources said.
Saada was killed, as were her daughters, 8-year-old Diana and Debra, 5, while her son, 4-year-old Philip, was critically injured and required emergency surgery to save his life.
Natasha and her two girls were mourned by thousands of people at their Borough Park funeral Sunday — with their bodies then flown to Israel, where they were buried in Jerusalem on Monday.
Sidney Saada, the husband of the tragic mom and dad of the slain little girls, wept at their burial and had to be held up as he helped shovel dirt on their coffins.
Also at the heart-wrenching ceremony were his wife’s grieving father and at least two of her brothers.
“Your loss is our loss,’’ one mourner told the grieving dad.
Meanwhile, the 63-year-old driver of the Uber that was hit in the crash and his three passengers — a 35-year-old woman and two children, ages 4 and 12 — were all transported to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are now reviewing traffic cameras near the intersection, as well as the dashcam from a vehicle that was not involved in the fatal crash, the sources said.
A forensic investigation of the crash scene will include scrutiny of skid marks and the Audi’s “black box.”
Yarimi — whose Audi had wracked up more than 93 traffic violations, including 20 speeding tickets — had previously allegedly bragged about her love of street racing, a “need for speed” and her expensive taste in luxe cars.
“[She] always talked about how she drove fast and wanted fast cars,” said an acquaintance, who didn’t want to be named, told The Post.
“She told me that she’s an adrenaline junkie and always needs a thrill — and she needed to have a fast car.”
The single mom also has a penchant for paranoid ramblings and conspiracy theories, according neighbors and bizarre posts on her Instagram and TikTok accounts. She believed her upstairs neighbor is a CIA agent, too, other residents said.
Yamiri, who scored a $2 million settlement in an old sex-abuse case against the NYPD, suffered minor injuries and is now being held at Bellevue Hospital on manslaughter charges.
