A Queens man told cops he found his fiancée dead in her apartment building — but the timing of the 911 call raised red flags for authorities, sources said.
Cops are eyeing the death of the 48-year-old woman as suspicious because her 49-year-old beau claimed to have spoken to her three hours before he found her even though she appeared to have been dead four times longer, according to sources.
Her lover said he found her unconscious and unresponsive in the first-floor hallway of her building on Hancock Street near Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood around 10:30 p.m. and called 911, according to cops and sources.
She was pronounced dead on scene by responding EMS workers.
Her body showed no visible signs of trauma, but investigators believe she had been dead for about 12 hours before she was found – based on the state of decomposition, the sources said.
However, her fiancé reported last speaking to her around 7 p.m., the sources said.

Investigators are now probing her death as suspicious, according to the sources.
Her official cause of death will be determined by the city medical examiner’s office.
