Patrick Schwarzenegger Reveals His Fiancee’s Reaction to Racy ‘White Lotus’ Sex Scene

Patrick Schwarzenegger’s fiancée had a hilarious reaction to his now-infamous sex scene on The White Lotus.

Schwarzenegger, 31, revealed on the Thursday, April 10, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he didn’t share any spoilers with longtime love Abby Champion, 28. So, Champion was shocked when she saw the racy scene involving him and onscreen brother Sam Nivola in episode 6.

In a flashback in episode 6, brothers Saxon (Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Nivola) are seen in bed with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) after a drunken night out. While Lochlan and Chloe are getting it on, Saxon lies next to them — and gets a helping hand from his brother.

“My fiancée was nagging me nonstop when I booked the role,” Schwarzenegger said on The Tonight Show. “She was like, ‘You gotta tell me who dies.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m not telling you who dies. Like, I signed my life away. Mike [White, The White Lotus creator] will fire me.’”

“And she was like, ‘OK, fine. Just tell me, do you hook up with people?’ And I was like, ‘Baby, you know The White Lotus. I can’t tell you this information,’” Schwarzenegger continued. “She was like, ‘Just tell me, do you get with people?’ and I said, ‘Yes, I do.’ And she was like, ‘Who? Which girls do you get with?’ I was like, I can’t tell you.”

Just like Us, Champion saw the shocking scene between Saxon and Lochlan play out when it aired on HBO.

“And then episode 5 comes out, and 6, and she’s like, ‘You got with your brother?’” Schwarzenegger recalled, prompting host Jimmy Fallon to break into laughter.

Schwarzenegger’s costar, Le Bon, previously shared the actor’s visceral reaction to filming an incestuous kiss with Nivola, 21, in episode 5.

During an interview with Vulture in March, Charlotte Le Bon recalled being present when Schwarzenegger and Nivola filmed the intimate moment, saying, “Well, obviously they’re not brothers by blood, so that made it easier.”

Le Bon, 38, said Schwarzenegger needed some encouragement, adding, “I think for Patrick it was really difficult. For Sam, he was kind of like, ‘It’s whatever, let’s just do it well one time and it will be over.’ Because if you don’t do it well the first time, then you have to do it over and over again.”

While watching the scene back, Le Bon noted that Schwarzenegger’s reaction in the episode is “his genuine reaction.”

“We all thought he was going to throw up,” she quipped. “And Sam was like, ‘It’s fine, it’s just a kiss, calm down!’”
