Pedro Pascal is getting candid about his childhood celebrity crushes — one of them being Harrison Ford.

Indiana Jones, all the way up to the Last Crusade,” Pascal, 50, said in an interview with Them published on Thursday, July 24, referring to the third film in the Indiana Jones trilogy. “All the way to now. It’s sort of like a double Harrison Ford, isn’t it? Han Solo.”

Some of his other crushes included Olivia Newton-John, Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns and Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire.

“Marlon Brando appears on screen in A Streetcar Named Desire, and you can’t even stay seated,” Pascal joked.

Pascal has previously chosen to keep his love life out of the spotlight throughout the years.

“I always feel perplexed when I’m identified in whatever form of media as a ‘highly private person,’ because that’s the opposite of me,” he clarified in a June Vanity Fair profile. “I’m very unprivate in my private life. I just know that personal relationships are such a complex thing to navigate even without having this enormous lens on them.”

Aside from listing his childhood celebrity crushes, Pascal is busy with his career, especially with the upcoming release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which hits theaters on Friday, July 25.

The Marvel film, which stars Pascal as Reed Richards/ Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/ Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/ The Thing), features the team of four coming together to face their most daunting challenge yet: defending earth from Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).

“With Reed, his body may stretch, but this is a brain character,” Pascal said in an interview with ComicBook in April. “I guess I’ll just give it completely away. I thought of the brilliance of an octopus. Not in any literal physical translated way, but I put it into my subconscious. Yeah. That’s the biggest character secret reveal that I’ve given to you.”

Aside from The Fantastic Four, Pascal also recently appeared in Materialists in June alongside Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans. The A24 film, which was directed, written and produced by Past Lives creator Celine Song, follows the love triangle between a matchmaker, her aspiring actor ex-boyfriend and a millionaire.

Pascal previously shared that he signed on to the film largely because he and Song, 36, became “fast friends” and he loved Past Lives.

“It really came down to it being, anything that she may or may not want me to do, I’d be willing to do it as an artist and as a friend,” he told GQ in a May 2024 interview. “Working with that caliber of talent is the goal ultimately, and so I’m the lucky one for sure.”
