“Just Give Me a Reason” singer Pink listed “Copacabana” singer Barry Manilow’s one-time Malibu mansion for $15 million yesterday — only four months after buying it for $13.7 million in June.
The newly-renovated beach home has inter-generational significance, having belonged to both the man who “writes the songs that make the whole world sing” from 1999 to 2012 and now to the woman who is “still a rockstar.”
But it’s unclear why she is unloading the property so quickly. Reports have painted the listing as a “flip,” but Pink will make less than 6% profit on the property when broker’s fees are considered. And she doesn’t appear to have done renovations, permit records and listing photos show.
Pink’s representatives and listing broker Lily Harfouche with Compass did not respond to The Post’s requests for comment.
The 7,000-square-foot mansion was built in 1976. Manilow sold the property to a professional hockey player for $5.45 million in 2012, gaining a $2.45 million profit.
After four years of renovations, the hockey player sold the property to a dentist-turned-investor for $8.7 million. Before-and-after shots show that the dentist redid the kitchen, lightened the floors and added other modern features. The dentist — who truly did flip the house — sold it to Pink this summer for $13.7 million.
Inside, the 4,320-square-foot house has oak hardwood floors and a cream and white gourmet kitchen, according to Realtor.com.
The oceanfront primary bedroom suite has a fireplace, dual walk-in closets and a luxurious bathroom, according to Realtor.com.
The 0.16-acre lot offers 180-degree ocean views, front and back porches, a guest house and a courtyard with a built-in barbecue and spa, according to Realtor.com.
The 42-year-old singer of “Just Give me a Reason,” “What About Us,” and “So What” is a longtime Malibu fan. She once owned a $12.5 million landlocked Malibu house in Point Dume and rented a $65,000-per-month beachfront Malibu mansion, according to reports.
Pink, whose father Jim Moore recently died, has a 10-year-old daughter Willow and a 4-year-old son Jameson with her husband Carey Hart. The woman, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, was also recently the subject of a documentary, “Pink: All I Know so Far,” which was released on Amazon Prime Video this Spring.
