A professional wrestler was allegedly stabbed by a fan at a show in Illinois — and the chaotic aftermath was all caught on video.
Mads Krule Krügger (who also goes by Krule or Mad Krule) was competing at a Ruthless Pro Wrestling event in Berwyn, Illinois, on Saturday, March 28, when he found himself in an alleged altercation with a man before the start of the show.
Lou Nixon, a wrestler who was also on the card, posted a video Sunday, March 29, explaining what allegedly went down.
“When we’re all at merch, he apparently went up to Krule and asked him how much his [merch] was and stuff,” Nixon said. “Krule was nice to him … And then he turned around to Krule and went, ‘I’m not f***ing paying, man.’ The guy walked away and Krule was like, ‘Who the f*** is this guy?’”
During Krule’s match against Shlak later in the night, the same man in question apparently got knocked over during a melee outside of the ring.
After the event, the fan allegedly got up in Krule’s face and challenged him to a fight while brandishing a weapon.
“As he’s tackled him, this is where the impaling has happened,” Nixon claimed. “There’s no ifs or buts about it. He did get impaled with a sharp object, what we are assuming to be a bladed article. That’s when the video starts.”
Nixon shared a video of the wild scene via Facebook, which shows a mass of people fighting inside the venue.
Despite getting “shanked,” according to Nixon, Krule was hardly any worse for wear after the incident.
“He literally came back to the Airbnb, got a shower, drank a beer and got on his flight home like a bad ass motherf***er,” Nixon said.
Pro wrestler Mickie Knuckles, who was also on the Ruthless Pro Wrestling card, backed up Nixon’s account of the alleged event.
“The fan tackled Krule through the table … and while he had him on the ground, he stabbed him in the lower right quadrant of his abdomen,” Knuckles told Cultaholic on Sunday. “At that point, the boys saw he had a knife, so they just started lighting him up. They didn’t want to take the chance of the motherf—er stabbing them too. They pushed him towards the door. Somebody Spartan-kicked him down the stairs.”
As for Krule, he took to social media on Sunday to succinctly tell fans he was “fine.”
It is not known if any arrests or police reports have been made in connection to the alleged incident.
