Dallas rapper Yella Beezy has been charged with capital murder for allegedly orchestrating the 2020 killing of fellow rapper Mo3, according to court documents and reports.
The 33-year-old “That’s On Me” rapper, real name Markies Conway, was taken into custody Thursday for allegedly hiring a hitman to carry out the murder of Mo3, real name Melvin Noble, on Nov. 11, 2020, according to court documents.
He is accused of hiring Kevin Dontrell White to shoot and kill Noble while he was still in a car on a Texas interstate, KDFW reported.
Noble was shot several times in the back while trying to flee the masked gunman.
White was arrested again last month — and is already serving a nine-year sentence for firearm charges related to the shooting, the outlet said.
Conway, known for his breakout trap hit “That’s On Me,” was formally indicted Tuesday by a Dallas County grand jury, court documents show.
He has been charged with capital murder for allegedly paying for that hit, court records show.
His bond has not yet been set, and he is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail.
