RHOBH’s Kyle Richards Texted Both Dorit and PK Kemsley When Their Son Jagger Was Hospitalized

As Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley claim to put their contentious past behind them, a new development may again rock the boat.

During the Tuesday, January 28, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show, Kyle, 56, revealed that she had texted both Dorit, 48, and her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, after learning of their son Jagger’s hospitalization. (Kyle and Dorit have argued repeatedly about Kyle’s friendship with PK, 57, after he and Dorit split in May 2024.)

Kyle told RHOBH costar Erika Jayne that she had learned of Jagger, 10, being admitted into hospital via Dorit and PK’s Instagram posts in October 2024, and reached out to the two of them.

“They posted … that Jagger’s been going through a hard time and he was in the hospital and I have been talking with [Dorit] and, by the way I will admit, freely, and PK too,” Kyle began. “I texted both of them regarding their child. Do I feel bad about texting PK about his child? No I do not. And if someone says there’s something wrong with that, f— you.”

Dorit previously offered Us Weekly details into Jagger’s surgery one month after his hospitalization. “I’m very, very happy to say that he’s doing so much better,” Dorit exclusively told Us in November 2024. “He had two hip surgeries in under a week. Emergency surgery. This little guy has been through a lot, but he’s incredible.”

PK had previously shared via Instagram that the couple’s son had fallen ill. “Our little boy Jagger has been unwell for the last few weeks, Mommy and Daddy have been with him in the wonderful @cedarssinai we wanted to publicly thank them and the Drs and Nurses,” PK posted on October 15 last year. “We are still here but he’s 🙏on the mend. … He’s our Rocky.”

Kyle’s admission to texting both PK and Dorit came after she confirmed on Tuesday night’s After Show that she and Dorit are trying to mend their broken friendship. “I’m good now, we’re fine. I don’t want to have an argument with her,” Kyle told the cameras.

Dorit was also seen telling Bozoma Saint John during the episode that she and Kyle were “trying to start moving forward” with a friendship. “I don’t think it’s something that can happen overnight,” Dorit added. “I think it’s really easy to lose trust in someone and it’s really hard to get it back.”

Kyle and Dorit have locked horns over countless issues in recent years, including accusations of insufficient support during their respective marital breakdowns (Kyle separated from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky in summer 2023) and prioritising other friendships over theirs.

Kyle’s text contact with PK has served as an ongoing issue, most recently sparking a screaming match between Kyle and Dorit during the January 7 episode of RHOBH. The fight was also featured in the January 14 episode, with Kyle reading the text to Erika, 53, and costars Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais.

The text, sent after Dorit and PK announced their separation, read, “I know you have a lot of friends but I am also one and here if you need me. I’ve never repeated anything you have ever shared with me and never would. (Meaning you can trust me always). Will keep sending memes and won’t forget laughing emojis.”
