The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino is responding to a message sent by Shannon Beador — along with a settlement payment.

“I just had a chance to watch the reunion of RHOC season 18. I’m letting everyone know that I’m broken by this season,” Alexis, 47, wrote via Instagram on Friday, November 22. “I was already broken by losing my mom 3 months prior to filming, so it was a difficult decision to sign back on. Yet, I went in thankful it brought me out of bed and out of my depression.”

She went on to say that she had “been beaten down so badly, so wrongly, and so many truths left out,” writing, “So much left on the cutting room floor that would’ve never brought so much hate to me and my family.”

She continued, “There ARE receipts. Many. And They WILL be brought out this week. The lawsuit only finalized because the opposition knew we had the receipts to bring to court.”

Shannon, 60, has been involved in a years-long legal battle with her ex John Janssen, Alexis’ husband. John, 61, previously sued Shannon for breach of oral contract and promissory fraud, claiming she had not paid him back the $75,000 he’d spent on her facelift.

At first, Shannon agreed to pay him for half of the amount, but changed her mind when she learned he allegedly had footage of her September 2023 DUI arrest. She offered another sum in exchange for a non-disparagement agreement, which John declined.

It was confirmed by Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 19, that John and Shannon had reached an agreement to dismiss the lawsuit, with John filing a notice of settlement. On Thursday, November 21, Shannon uploaded a screenshot via Instagram Story of her “Outgoing Wire Transfer Receipt” for a sum of $60,000. She captioned the post, “Enjoy,” and tagged both Alexis and John’s official accounts.

“She had to pay up because she would’ve lost in court,” Alexis continued in her caption on Friday. “Ya, [Beador] only paid $60k of the $75, but thank you for that $60k. John gave you a discount. 👍 The lie that ‘someone’ paid for everything is squashed by the fact of what our forensic accountant did. $50k spent by John year one. Then $380k over 3 years. Then 2 loans of $75k which she finally had to pay because the evidence would’ve squashed her in court. Truth prevails.”

Shannon Beador is over working with Alexis Bellino — but would Shannon really let Alexis prevent her from returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County? Us Weekly caught up with Shannon, 60, at Emily Simpson’s RHOC reunion watch party on Thursday, November 14, supporting The Innocence Center, and she clarified her past comments about […]

She continued, “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get the opportunity for these receipts to be shown at the reunion, although they were brought by me and they were VERY available to be shown. So now John and I will bring them in our own voice.”

Alexis added that she “never thought [she’d] be brought back this season to be the villain,” saying, “If I had known that I never would’ve signed. I live in love. Not anger or hate or villainous. I truly lay awake every night wondering why it was portrayed this way.” She claimed the series “made a hit show at my and John’s expense.”

Alexis added that she plans to “use my own platform” to “share the truth with you because I do not live in toxicity, falsehoods, hateful behavior, victim hood or lies,” saying, “I signed onto reality…. and now I will bring the reality to light. I will never act or become a victim, I will simply live with God and stand in truth. He always prevails. #staytuned 💔❤️🫶🏻.”

Shannon came face to face with Alexis as her ex-husband’s new girlfriend during season 18 of Orange County. She exclusively told Us on November 14 that she has no interest in filming with Alexis in season 19 and beyond. “I’d be grateful to come back [to the show],” she said. “But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, not gonna be around [her].”
