Ashley Iaconetti has a tried-and-true method to conquering solo mom outings with two kids — no matter what the critics say.

Jared [Haibon] went to visit a friend in the hospital in Boston today,” Iaconetti, 38, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 4, referring to her husband. “I thought, ‘Let me take the kids to the Boston aquarium while he’s there.’ I do not recommend doing this 😂.”

Iaconetti and Haibon, 37, have been married since 2019 and share sons Dawson, 4, and Hayden, 20 months. During Saturday’s aquarium visit, Iaconetti put Hayden on a so-called leash, connected to her wrist. She also put an AirTag on Dawson in case she needed to track his whereabouts via her smartphone if he ran out of eyesight.

“I have no shame in my leash game,” she wrote, adding a “Safety Over Shame” hashtag.

According to Ashley Iaconetti, nothing can prepare a person for being a parent of two — not even parenthood itself. “So many people told us that zero to one was going to be the hardest, and we definitely find one to two so much harder,” Iaconetti, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, July 3, […]

Iaconetti also took her boys to Chuck E. Cheese during Haibon’s hospital visit.

“Pro tip of parents: Chuck E. Cheese. It is still the best,” she added in a follow-up Saturday post. “Pizza, wings, games, little rides, trampolines and play zone all in one. Unlike a lot of play zones, everything is monitored and it’s small enough to keep your eyes on your kids without having to crawl in tubes yourself.”

She continued, “The silver membership we have is $12 a month and, basically, gives you unlimited games every time you go, and you can go as much as you want.”

While Iaconetti is embracing mom life, she’s also stepping back into the limelight. The Bachelor Nation alum is among the stars on Bravo’s new series The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. (Iaconetti moved to Rhode Island, Haibon’s home state, after they said “I do.”)

“Ashley probably isn’t the first person you think of when thinking of a ‘Housewife.’ However, when I think about it, I actually think she is,” Haibon wrote via Instagram on Thursday, April 2, celebrating his wife’s new series. “Ashley is hardworking, beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, a supportive wife and the most loving mother any child can ask for. I see her put her family first every single day.”

Ashley Iaconetti Haibon revealed that crossing over from one reality franchise to another isn’t always seamless. He added at the time, “She might not be confrontational, she might not flip tables but she is strong, diligent and wears her heart on her sleeve. Ashley I is a badass, and when I think of this franchise, I think of badass women. Because of this, I think Ashley will fit right in.”

RHORI premiered on Thursday, chronicling Iaconetti’s integration into the Ocean State’s social scene alongside fellow cast members Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi.
