Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.50% or 0.90 points to trade at 14.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (TADAWUL:) added 4.42% or 1.50 points to end at 35.45 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:) was up 4.10% or 0.50 points to 12.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.88% or 1.22 points to trade at 19.52 at the close. Almoosa Health Co (TADAWUL:) declined 5.13% or 7.20 points to end at 133.20 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:) was down 3.91% or 1.15 points to 28.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 152 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.42% or 1.50 to 35.45. Shares in Almoosa Health Co (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; losing 5.13% or 7.20 to 133.20.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.48% or 0.35 to $73.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.51% or 0.39 to hit $76.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 16.86 to trade at $2,689.26 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 3.87, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 108.99.
