The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.49% or 7.30 points to trade at 93.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:) added 6.61% or 2.95 points to end at 47.60 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 3.45% or 0.62 points to 18.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.06% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.31 at the close. Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 3.07% or 4.60 points to end at 145.00 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:) was down 2.29% or 1.40 points to 59.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 164 to 143 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.81% or 1.27 to $71.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.47% or 1.08 to hit $74.49 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 33.60 to trade at $2,675.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.68.
