Sean Lowe showed off the injuries he suffered after being attacked twice in 12 hours by his family’s dog, Moose.

Lowe, 41, took to Instagram on Monday, March 17 — with his wife, Catherine Giudici, by his side — to detail the nearly-catastrophic attacks that occurred at their home.

The former Bachelor held up his left arm for the camera, showing off the fresh stitches across his wrist, which he called “the worst of the bunch.”

“That was cut so deep,” Lowe explained. “I just see blood squirting probably a couple feet. My first thought was, ‘I think that dog may have nicked an artery.’”

Lowe said the vicious attack left “a literal pool of blood on our floor like nothing I’ve ever seen.”

Moose, a rescue boxer, had been in the family’s home for less than three months before the incidents.

Lowe was rushed to the emergency room by a group of friends, where he was stitched up in “five or six different places.”

Giudici — who married Lowe in 2014 after the couple met and fell in love on season 17 of The Bachelor — was not home at the time of the first attack. The pair share three kids: sons Sam, 8, and Isaiah, 6, and daughter Mia, 5.

Less than 12 hours later, Lowe was attacked by Moose again in front of the family’s home when Lowe’s parents arrived to pick up his children.

“I hear a ‘No, no, no, no,’” Lowe recalled. “And it’s Catherine from inside the house. And I look at the front door because I’m standing in the front yard, and I see Moose running out the front door.”

Lowe explained he was even more vulnerable during the second attack because of the damage that had been inflicted the previous evening.

“My arm was just useless because it was all stitched up,” he said. “I was having a hard time moving it.”

Sean Lowe and his wife, Catherine Giudici, are picking up the pieces after the former Bachelor was attacked by their dog, Moose. “I know with what just transpired, obviously I can’t keep Moose in this house. I’ve got young kids, and I’ve got to be concerned about my own safety, so I’m talking to our […]

Lowe made another trip to the emergency room where he received more stitches on his right arm, which he also showed off in the Instagram video.

The reality star said the attacks weren’t Moose’s “fault” and he vowed to work diligently to figure out another homing situation for the dog.

Ultimately, Lowe expressed gratitude that his wife and children were not victims in either incident.

“I’ll have scarred arms for the rest of my life,” he said. “But I can live with that.”
