Shannon Beador’s Newest Post Has Fans Convinced Daughter Sophie Is Joining ‘Next Gen LA’

Shannon Beador’s daughter Sophie is growing up fast — and fans are convinced that growth includes a stint on reality TV.

On Thursday, July 3, hair stylist Julius Michael shared a photo of Sophie, 23, via Instagram. The photo was lovely, but it was Michael’s caption that caught people’s attention and fueled speculation.

“The Next Generation is 🔥 @sophiebeador All grown up and becoming the #queen she is,” the caption read.

“Next gen NYC???” one person asked in the comments, referring to the Bravo reality series Next Gen NYC, which debuted in June 2025. Another pointed out that Sophie strongly resembles her mom and wrote, “Stunning like Shannon! Julius I need you to do my hair in Vegas where I live! 🔥🔥🔥”

Shannon Beador joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2014 and is believed to be part of the cast of the show’s 19th season.

Next Gen NYC “follows a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight — or at least close enough for good lighting — as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, breakup and spontaneous decision at a time,” according to the show’s tagline.

Sophie Beador is not listed on the show’s cast, but some clearly believe Michael was making a reference to the possibility of her joining some version of the show. On July 1, Reality Blurb reported that several children of reality stars, including those of Adrienne Maloff and Cynthia Bailey, have been approached about joining a version of the series set in Los Angeles.

Joining the series might be a diversion for Sophie, whose father (Shannon Beador’s ex-husband) recently refiled for a restraining order against his estranged wife Lesley Beador. Lesley and David Beador share one daughter, Anna Love Beador.

David and Lesley have been married for four years. David has requested that Lesley be ordered to stay 100 yards from him, his home, and his place of employment except for when the pair are exchanging custody of Anna.

David also requested that Lesley be ordered out of their home in Newport Beach, California. “I own the home. My business is located in Orange County. Lesley is currently staying at our Montana residence for the summer,” he noted in court documents.

“Lesley and I have had many ups and downs in our marital relationship, with prior [divorce petitions] filed and dismissed and domestic violence restraining orders,” David also said. “I have always been concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has been primarily based upon her desire to live a luxurious standard of living.”

He added, “In our case [it’s] not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case it is a fact, she has made that very clear to me literally.”
