Before having to fight people on Special Forces, Teresa Giudice opened up about a past incident when she got physical with someone.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the Thursday, October 2, episode of the hit Fox series, Teresa, 53, and other contestants are preparing for a challenge that requires them to fight each other in a boxing match setting.
“Everyone thinks that I am so tough and this mean person, which I am really not,” Teresa says in a confessional. “But I do fly off the handle if you really piss me off.”
Teresa brought up a specific example, adding, “My ex-boyfriend, he cheated on me. So I knocked the bitch out.” After lashing out, Teresa says she had regrets about how she reacted.
“I feel so bad now,” she notes. “I should have knocked him out.”
Special Forces, which premiered in 2023, puts contestants through harsh, military-style training based on actual special forces selection processes. They face intense physical and mental challenges designed to push every boundary.
In addition to Teresa, season 4 includes Gia Giudice, Jussie Smollett, Kody Brown, Brittany Cartwright, Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker, Johnny Manziel, Chanel Iman, Nick Young, Ravi Patel, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, Andrew East, Shawn Johnson East, Randall Cobb, Mark Estes, Eva Marcille and Christie Pearce.
Teresa previously credited Special Forces for bringing her and daughter Gia, 24, closer.
“There were things that she said to me, and things that I promised her I would do,” Teresa said on an episode of the “Viall Files” podcast last month. “She wants me to let go of anger, and that is one of the things she said to me. I promised her I would, so you’ll see what plays out on Special Forces.”
At the time, Teresa got honest about the brutal conditions, sharing with Us, “I was terrified the most because I didn’t know how to swim. If you watched the last season, it was all about the water. I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I was afraid to drown. So now I feel more comfortable in the water. It was the most challenging thing that I’ve ever done. And doing the show changed me.”
Gia, meanwhile, told Us why she was glad she joined the Fox competition series with her mother. (In addition to Gia, Teresa and ex-husband Joe Giudice share daughters Gabriella, 20, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 16.)
“My mom and I spoke a lot about things that we probably have never spoken about, because you are just secluded from the outside world,” Gia shared in September. “It was just her and I, as well as the other castmates. I felt most comfortable with my mom, and we talked a lot about letting go, and this journey on Special Forces was so amazing to just let go of the anger and really worry about yourself and just really let go.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs on Fox Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
