Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard is setting the record straight amid claims West Wilson has reached out to her after confirming his relationship with Amanda Batula.
“I am very triggered by liars at the moment,” Hubbard, 39, shared via Instagram on Monday, April 6, responding to a Deuxmoi post claiming she was “just at Zero Bond nyc with her daughter post-uber eats commercial with Carl [Radke].”
The post claimed Hubbard was “ready for the reunion” and “coming in HOT.” The post further claimed that “West had reached out to 0 cast people.”
Hubbard went on to confirm that she was at Zero Bond with her daughter, Gemma, whom she shares with her ex Turner Kufe.
While celebrating Easter with her best friend, Hubbard explained that Gemma was running around so much that she barely had time to sit and catch up.
“The two times I might have sat down with my best friend, my best friend asked me, ‘Are you excited for the reunion?’” Hubbard added. “I said, ‘I’m excited to get it over with.’”
She continued, “At another point in the three hours I was there, she asked me, ‘Has West reached out to you?’ and I said, ‘No, he has not,’ and she was surprised by that.” “So that was the extent [of] my conversation about this. We were trying to explain everything to my best friend’s dad who is not in the know of all the reality TV drama that goes on. That was it. Very, very benign answers on my part. I am still trying to wrap my head around all of this as we all are and as [more] details come out pretty much every day.”
Hubbard concluded her video by shutting down another rumor about the cast filming the season 10 reunion on April 15. “As of now, that is not the date. I wish it were quite frankly,” she said.
Hubbard’s message comes after Wilson, 31, and Amanda Batula confirmed their romance via Instagram on March 31.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the duo wrote in a statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Their message continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Fans were shocked to learn that Batula, 34, and Wilson were exploring their romantic connection amid rumors the pair were secretly dating. Batula recently split from husband Kyle Cooke in January, after four years of dating, while Wilson was previously dating Batula’s close friend, Ciara Miller, in 2023.
