Taxi hits multiple pedestrians outside iconic Manhattan Macy’s on Christmas Day

A taxi driver slammed into multiple pedestrians in Herald Square Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The Christmas chaos unfolded outside Macy’s on 34th Street and 6th Avenue shortly after 4 pm, cops said.

Five victims were taken to a local hospital in stable condition, sources said.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation, but appeared to be an accident.
