Taylor Swift fans used the pop star’s recent engagement to Travis Kelce to troll a trio of NFL quarterbacks for their lack of Super Bowl success.
A group of fans, dressed as Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, held up a sign at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 14, reading: “Taylor has more rings than Josh, Lamar and Burrow combined.”
The sign, which was shared on Instagram by the fan account Kelce Brothers, trolled the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen, the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow, all of whom remain without a Super Bowl ring in their careers.
As of halftime, Swift had not appeared in the crowd at Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The week two game served as a 2025 Super Bowl rematch after the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 in February, the most recent time Swift rooted for Kelce in person. Earlier this month, she skipped the Chiefs season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 5. Although the Chiefs ultimately lost to the Chargers with a final score of 21-27, Kelce scored his first touchdown of the 2025-2026 season during the game.
Swift and Kelce, both 35, announced their engagement after two years of dating last month.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the couple announced in a joint August 26 Instagram post with photos from the proposal at Kelce’s Missouri home.
The images showed Kelce down on one knee in a garden filled with flowers and offered a close-up view of Swift’s old mine brilliant cut diamond ring.
“Travis is incredibly thoughtful. He had a clear vision of what he wanted,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly of the bauble in August. “He chose it almost entirely on his own. He knows her so well and what she likes — a timeless, classic, vintage touch.”
Kelce is “very observant and in tune with” Swift’s personal style, according to the insider.
“That drove his decision,” the source noted. “He considered everything about what she’d like and want, and he paid attention to the jewelry she wears often for inspiration.”
Two days after the announcement, Swift and Kelce made their first public appearance as an engaged couple, attending the University of Cincinnati vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers game at Arrowhead Stadium. The pair took in the action from Kelce’s private suite, with Swift showing off her sparkling ring during the night out.
Earlier this month, Travis gushed over his and Swift’s engagement during the September 3 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on,” he said. “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”
Travis added that he “still get[s] giddy” calling Swift his fiancée.
As for the pair’s careers, while Travis is back on the football field, Swift is preparing for the release of her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3.
