Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham have mastered post-Bachelor bliss amid the arrival of their fourth baby.
The couple announced the little one’s arrival via Instagram on Monday, September 22. “Welcome to the world livvy rowe luyendyk.🪽9/18/25,” the pair wrote. “Love you our sweet little angel girl!”
The post included several snaps of the proud parents holding the newborn, who was wrapped in a fuzzy blanket and wearing a pink headband.
Arie and Lauren met during season 22 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2018. After Arie broke off his engagement to final rose recipient Becca Kufrin due to his lingering feelings for runner-up Lauren, he proposed to Lauren that March, and the couple tied the knot in Hawaii in January 2019. They went on to welcome daughter Alessi in May 2019 and twins Lux and Senna in June 2021.
In February, Arie revealed that he underwent a vasectomy reversal so he and Lauren could conceive again.
“We said we were done having kids, like, a couple years ago, but I think we’re gonna do it one more time,” Lauren said in a YouTube video at the time. “That sounded funny, like, we’re only going to do it one time.”
Arie confessed that he “rushed” his 2022 vasectomy procedure after the twins were born, explaining, “It’s more on me, [and] I think having the twins was hard at first.”
Lauren, meanwhile, noted that Arie scheduled the vasectomy “without consulting” her when their twins were 6 months old.
“He was like, ‘OK, it’s happening. We gotta do this,’” she recounted. “And we did. I got on board.”
After the reversal, Arie was “totally” ready to have another baby, reasoning, “If we had a singleton, we could totally handle that.” However, Lauren needed some time to make up her mind despite the fact that their other kids had surpassed the baby stage.
“He totally convinced me that, like, chapter’s closed and I came to terms with that,” she said. “Now, I have to just get out of that again. So I’m getting there [while] Arie is totally there. … But yeah, we’re going to do it again.”
The following month, Lauren announced her pregnancy with baby No. 4.
“Our last missing piece,” she captioned a March Instagram post showing her baby bump and sonogram images. “Coming this September.”
In a YouTube video uploaded on the same day, the duo confirmed that Arie’s vasectomy reversal actually took place in summer 2024, though they chose to not share the news publicly until the following February.
“A lot has happened since then,” Arie acknowledged. Lauren then added that they tried to conceive for a while, but she experienced a chemical pregnancy, which is an early miscarriage. Despite their at-times difficult journey, she emphasized they were “super excited” for “our last baby.”
