The Office’s Jenna Fischer is embracing her post-chemo curls.
Fischer, 51, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 15, to show off her voluminous curls growing in after undergoing chemotherapy to treat her breast cancer. In the pic, she gazed into the camera with her copper strands pushed to the side of her forehead and styled in neat coils. She teamed her tresses with a navy blue top featuring crisp lapels and a relaxed collar.
The actress went makeup-free in the snap, showing off her flawless complexion, which she paired with black eyeglasses. She tied her look together with silver hoop earrings.
“I am borderline obsessed with my messy uncontrollably curly post-chemo bangs,” she captioned the selfie. “They are giving me 80s vibes all day and I’m here for it. Positive comments only because it’s what they deserve. They are the best. 🤘.”
Celebrity friends and fans praised Fischer’s mane in the comments section.
“I loooove it!!!! ❤️🔥,” her fellow Office alum and “The Office Ladies” podcast cohost Angela Kinsey wrote. Olivia Munn, who was also diagnosed with breast cancer, added, “I’m so happy you’re loving it now! I am too! 😍.”
More fans commented that Fischer should accessorize her look with a red “bandana in [her] hair” to look like Rosie the Riveter. A second follower wrote, “You are so beautiful, Jenna. 🔥 I love that you share this part of your journey with us. ❤️.”
Fischer revealed her breast cancer battle in October 2024, nearly a year after her diagnosis.
“October is breast cancer awareness month. I never thought I’d be making an announcement like this but here we are,” she wrote via Instagram. “Last December, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Positive Breast Cancer.”
She continued, “After completing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation I am now cancer free.”
In January, she celebrated the one- year anniversary of her breast cancer surgery. “I spent the day in St. Louis surrounded by family doing a belated Christmas with grandparents and cousins after luxuriating at my FAVORITE hotel of all time, the @fsstlouis,” she wrote via social media. “I have two more Herceptin infusions and then I will get my port out!! Woot! Hair is growing back (slowly and wildly, but it’s growing).”
