If you’re looking to book a unique summer vacation — nothing screams “fun” like lodging in a place that is shaped like a boot.

Yes, a boot.

The Haines Shoe House is a rental home located in York, Pennsylvania, and is only a three-hour drive from NYC.

It was originally built in 1948 by “the show wizard” Mahlon Haines, according to SWNS.

When Haines first built the house, he intended to use the quirky shoe-shaped home to advertise his shoe stores.

He figured that by making it a tourist attraction, it would stop people in their tracks and hopefully lead them to his stores.

Nowadays, tourists travel from all over to do exactly that — they either book a stay in the 48-foot-long historic house or drive through PA to take pictures outside this bizarre yet charming home.

Waylon and Naomi Brown bought the unique home in 2022 and gave it a “light renovation and improvement.”

Before the couple bought it, the historic landmark was used as a museum and then an ice cream shop.

“…the previous use as an ice cream shop did not generate enough profits to keep it going, so I knew the business model needed to change,” Naomi told SWNS.

After giving the home a little TLC, the Browns listed it on Airbnb — and the rest is history.

“They [guests] love the Shoe House! It is such a fun and unique experience. The property is fun to explore and so special!” the owner told the outlet.

The home is 1,500 square feet and is complete with three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a living space and a kitchen area, according to the home’s website.

Outside, guests can hang out around the outdoor fire pit, relax in the hot tub or enjoy some fresh air at the adorable picnic area.

Rates per night range between $500-$650 — depending on the length of stay and time of year a guest books for.

The Shoe House’s listing has a 4.3-star rating — with guests raving about it.

“The Shoe House is a great find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & loved the quirkiness of it and the unique features,” one couple wrote.

“What a fun, quirky, unique place to stay! Not every day you stay in a shoe,” wrote someone else.
