They’re living the good life.
Although the housing market may be showing signs of improvement, there’s no denying that things are still wildly expensive out there.
So one innovative couple took it upon themselves to purchase a school bus for $5,000 — a bargain, one might say — and completely gutted it to transform it into a stunning beach home on wheels.
Allison and Nick have taken their HGTV-esque work to TikTok, documenting their process in videos that have garnered millions of views.
The Post reached out to the couple for comment.
In one video, with almost 500,000 views, the handy duo explained how, in 2018, they spontaneously bid on the 40-foot bus on eBay.
From there, they spent countless hours ripping out all of the old insulation, sourcing items, like a front door at an “RV junkyard,” and thrifted several other items at scrap yards to save as much money as they could.
What’s even more shocking than this project is the fact that neither Allison nor Nick really knew what they were doing and in their video, explained how they referred to YouTube for “pretty much everything.”
$45,000 spent on renovations later, the duo left their careers behind, sold their entire belongings and rented the home they were originally living in. By 2021, along with their two dogs, the couple embraced a new lifestyle many could only dream of.

Hundreds of commenters were left with their jaws dropped once they saw what Allison and Nick created in the final seconds of the video — a dream vacation home on wheels.
“WOW, just wow! The transformation is incredible. Ya all have a good eye for design and aesthetics.”
“Yours is probably one of my favorite bus transformations. I love the layout, I love that you have a full bathroom with a bathtub, it’s just so cozy and beautiful.”
“Y’all worked so hard! Your home is beautiful!”
And of course, some naysayers questioned this unusual lifestyle.
“i would be so scared of driving it with other people on the road. like ‘don’t hit my home!’”
“What you are doing is very dangerous but wow how amazing enjoy.”
“Why on earth would you put a window in the bathroom door.”
