Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are bringing their love courtside.
On Monday, May 12, the couple cheered on the New York Knicks at the team’s playoff game against the Boston Celtics. Chalamet, who was born and raised in New York City, had prime seating alongside Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner in the Madison Square Garden matchup, which also drew celeb fans including Cardi B, NFL player Stefon Diggs and Spike Lee, as well as Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor.
Chalamet, 29, donned a black Knicks T-shirt layered over a long-sleeved black shirt, which he paired with black pants. Kylie, 27, wore a black tank top and black leather pants, while her sister sported a white tank top, black leather pants and a blue Knicks hat. (Cardi B, for her part, glammed it up in a black leather skirt and jacket.)
Monday’s game was the fourth in the semifinals tournament between the Knicks and the Celtics, and ended with the Knicks winning 121-113. The team that wins the series will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, and whoever wins that round goes on to the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Meanwhile, last week Chalamet and Kylie made their red-carpet debut as a couple in Rome, Italy, while attending the 70th David Di Donatello ceremony. They coordinated their outfits: Chalamet sported a black suit and Jenner posed in a black gown with a plunging neckline.
Their May 7 appearance came two days after Kylie attended the Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art without Chalamet on her arm. While Kylie enjoyed the festivities of fashion’s biggest night with sisters Kendall and Kim Kardashian, Chalamet shared photos via his Instagram Story of watching the Knicks narrowly defeat the Celtics, 108 to 105, in the semifinals’ Game 1, which was held at TD Garden in Boston.
As for their Roman date night in the spotlight, “Kylie’s really happy and relieved they finally made their debut. It was time and she wanted to publicly support him and show how proud of him she is,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday. “She and Timothée have gotten really serious, and this was a big step.”
The insider added that Chalamet and Kylie “are practically living together at this point, as he stays at her house often when he is not working. He has been fully integrated into her life.”
Since they started dating in spring 2023, the pair have tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye. Lately, though, they have gradually gone public, making high-profile appearances at events ranging from the Oscars in March to an L.A. Lakers game in April.
“Everything is going really well,” the source told Us. “[Kylie is] proud to stand by him and felt like it was the right time to share that part of their relationship. They are in a really good place. He makes her feel calm and confident and it is a different relationship from what she has had in the past.”
