Travis celebrated his birthday days after Swift, 35, released her 12th studio album on Friday, October 3. While paying tribute to Travis on Sunday, Donna reshared a post from his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast that included throwback photos of the twosome. “Happy birthday, Travis!!!” she wrote.

To complete the post, Donna set the Instagram Story to Swift’s “Opalite” — a tune that Travis has shared is his favorite off her new album.

“I had a bad habit of missing lovers past / My brother used to call it, ‘Eating out of the trash,’” Swift sings in the song, seemingly mentioning brother Austin. “It’s never gonna last / I thought my house was haunted, I used to live with ghosts / And all the perfect couples said, ‘When you know, you know,’ / And, ‘When you don’t, you don’t.’”

She adds, “You were dancing through the lightning strikes / Sleepless in the onyx night / But now the sky is opalite / Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, my Lord / Never met no one likе you before / You had to make your own sunshinе.”

Swift, who announced her engagement to the NFL player in August, has since shared that the track was inspired by Travis.

“He loves that one,” Swift said of Travis during a Friday interview on the U.K.’s Capital FM radio station. “I have favorite words, favorite phrases [and] things I’ll put in an endless file of lyrics that I’m constantly going to go and cherry-pick from when I’m writing.”

Swift explained that she added “opalite” to that list. “Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travis’ birthstone is an opal,” she shared. “I’ve always fixated on that, [and] I’ve always loved that stone. I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, it’s a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. That’s what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.”

Hours after releasing Life of a Showgirl, Swift dropped the Release Party of a Showgirl in movie theaters.

“[This album] was inspired by the most incredible time of my life that was so exciting because you made the Eras Tour what it was,” Swift said in a prerecorded message. “The way that tour felt, the way that it just lit up my whole life was such a through line of making this music. Thank you for being that unknowing inspiration behind the scenes. I was internalizing all of that love and putting that into that record, and now it’s out!”

She continued, “I’m so happy that you wanted to celebrate that, and thank you for being so supportive and showing up as you have done for so many years. I could do absolutely none of this without you, and just wishing you all the best on your day.”
