As if fictional love triangles weren’t complicated enough, certain shows such as The Summer I Turned Pretty and My Life With the Walter Brothers kicked it up a notch by getting siblings involved.

The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is based on Jenny Han‘s books, focused on Belly (Lola Tung), who gets caught up in a love triangle with the Fisher family. After exploring her feelings for Conrad (Christopher Briney), she started to reconsider whether his brother, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), was her perfect match.

In the original book trilogy, Belly made her final choice in We’ll Always Have Summer, but Han and the cast chose to stir up more drama between fans by hinting at some shakeups on screen. At the same time, Netflix stirred up trouble with My Life With the Walter Brothers where Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) is stuck between brothers Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole (Noah LaLonde) — who she lives with, by the way.

But teen dramas have relied on love triangles with family members more often than expected. Keep scrolling for which shows will go down in history for stirring the pot with siblings fighting over the same person:
