Peyton and Eli Manning’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast continues to deliver hilarious moments.
During the third quarter of the Giants’ 20-17 loss to the Chiefs, Eli trolled Peyton with a surprise video that showed him inhaling a piece of chicken at halftime — clearly unaware that cameras were still rolling.
“We’re showing halftime highlights?” a surprised Peyton asked. “Is anything off limits? What’s the HIPAA of TV?”
Eli, who laughed through the clip, couldn’t believe how fast Peyton put down the piece of chicken.
“You had a knife and fork! Are you breathing? You just ate a whole piece of chicken nonstop!” he said, asking, “That’s grilled chicken on a bone all in one bite?”
It’s possible that Peyton was racing the clock to eat before he had to return to the broadcast.
Fans had fun with the “MNF” moment, and praised the four-time NFL MVP — so much that he became a trending Twitter topic.
“I never thought Peyton Manning eating a piece of chicken would bring me such joy. Hilarious!” one viewer tweeted.
“I want someone to love me like Peyton Manning loves chicken,” one fan wrote.
Another added, “I don’t care how hard that chicken slapped, how did you not take a drink of water Peyton.”
