1. Roast The Chana

Dry roast 1 cup of Bengal gram on medium heat until it turns golden and aromatic.

2. Cool It Down

Let the roasted chana cool completely to prevent moisture while grinding.

3. Make Chana Powder

Grind the cooled chana into a fine, smooth powder.

4. Grind Sugar

If your sugar isn’t already powdered, grind it separately until fine.

5. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the chana powder, powdered sugar, and ½ tsp cardamom powder.

Gently heat ¼ cup + 2 tbsp of ghee until just warm, not hot.
