Winter season is incomplete without indulging in a feast of strawberry desserts. Chef Aruna Vijay shared a simple recipe to bake strawberry crumble and we cannot wait to gorge on this deliciousness.

For Crumble • 80 g flour • 80 g oats • 60 g butter • 60 g powdered sugar For Berry Mixture • 2 cups chopped strawberry • 1 tsp lemon juice • 1/2 tsp lemon zest • 1/2 cup powdered sugar • 1 tsp corn flour • A few drops of vanilla essence

• Add flour, oats, and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl.

• Gently mix these dry ingredients with softened butter to get a crumbly textured mixture.

• In the next step, mix chopped strawberries with lemon juice, lemon zest, powdered sugar, corn flour, and vanilla essence. Make sure the sugar dissolves completely.

• Next, transfer the crumbly flour mixture to a greased baking mould. Add a layer of strawberry mixture.

• Top it off with flour and oats crumble and bake it at 180°C for at least 35 minutes. Next, let it cool down for 15 minutes.

Serve homemade strawberry crumble with a few strawberry slices and vanilla ice cream.
