Then you should try out this Makhana Ladoo recipe shared by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
2 cups makhana 1 cup chopped jaggery 4 tbsp ghee ¼ cup roasted peanuts ¼ cup cashew nuts 2 tbsp pistachios ¼ cup almonds 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds ½ cup + 2 tbsp grated dried coconut 1 tbsp black sesame seeds 1 tbsp white sesame seeds ¼ tsp green cardamom powder

1. Heat a deep non-stick pan and add jaggery along with 1 cup of water. 2. Mix well and cook till the mixture reaches one-string consistency.
3. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add makhana, and dry roast till crisp. 4. Transfer this to a plate.
5. Now, add the remaining ghee to the pan and add peanuts, cashews, pistachios, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and dry coconut and roast for 2-3 minutes.
6. Mix with roasted makhana and blend it in a grinder to make a fine powder.
7. Heat the pan again & add remaining dried coconut, black sesame seeds & white sesame seeds & roast till fragrant. 8. Transfer the sesame mixture to the ground mixture. 9. Add green cardamom powder and add the cooled jaggery syrup and mix till the mixture comes together.
10. Take small portions & shape ladoos. 11. Serve & enjoy!
